Over the years, since beginning my career in comics in the west, I've been asked frequently about some of the manga that I'd published in Asia, including my sketch books "Doodles From the Margin" volumes 1 and 2, some of the doujinshi published through the Secret Society and The Other Side of the Mirror, my first full length manga.

For years, TOSOTM was only available in Chinese and Korean, and even then difficult for westerners to get a hold of.  And for years, I didn't think anybody in the west would ever care to read it.  I was finally convinced otherwise and now volume 1 of The Other Side of the Mirror is available for the first time in English, courtesy of TokyoPop, who did a terrific job translating and re-packaging it.

It is available at Barnes & Noble, Buy.com, Amazon.com and your neighborhood comic shops.

Sono contenta anzi elettrizzata di annunciare che il mio primissimo manga intitolato di "The Other Side of the Mirror", scritto e disegnato quando ero una ragazzina in Taiwan, viene pubblicato ora in italiano presso i tipi di JPOP.  In effetti questo è il mio prima manga a essere tradotto in italiano, e una coincidenza fortunata ha fatto si che il mio 'editor' originale della Tong Li di Taiwan, viva ora in Italia e abbia potuto curare la traduzione dal cinese alla vostra lingua.

E' questo il collegamento con l'annunciio di JPOP per i 2 volumi. Spero proprio che il mio tratto grafico vi sia gradito.  Raramente ho l'opportunità di mostrare il mio lavoro a matita e inchiostro fuori dall'Asia: quindi sarete voi a giudicare.  Sentitevi anzi liberi di scrivermi, ma ricordatevi che purtroppo non conosco l'italiano e quindi  non aspettatevi che io vi possa rispondere nella vostra lingua; dobbiamo accontentarci di comunicare in inglese.  A meno che, naturamente, non possiate scrivermi in cinese!
