Meet Jo Chen at Fanime 2011, May 27 - 30 in San Jose, California

I will be attending 'FanimeCon 2011' from May 27 - 30 in San Jose, California.

I won't, however, be attending as a guest. I will, in fact, be stationed in the Fanime Dealers' Room. So, look for me there, where I will be meeting con-goers, reviewing portfolios, signing comic books and doujin, and selling copies of all the volumes of "In These Words," "Cruel to Be Kind," the Jo Chen illustration book, sketch books, etc.

See you in the aisles!!!

Jo Chen's Cover Illustration for Serentity - Better Days (HC)

Dark Horse decided to compile the "Better Days" issues along with "The Float Out" and other Serenity-Firefly goodies and graciously asked me to produce a new cover for the hard cover (HC) edition.

This one is girl power all the way, with 3 of the 4 Serenity femmes looking purposeful, cool and sexy. At least I think so.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Season 9 cover

Dark Horse, Joss and I were all looking for an iconic opener for the impending Buffy Season 9 series. I hope I clinched it.
