Jo Chen at Baltimore Comic-Con, September 8 - 9, 2012!!!

Yep! You got it, me buckos! I'm heading back to "Charm City" to guest at Baltimore Comic-Con 2012. The convention runs for two days, from September 8 thru September 9, and I will be there all day Saturday to do thy bidding.

It promises to be a great show...loads of terrific guests. Be there or there will be consequences!

Meet Jo Chen THIS WEEK at Boston Comic Con, Sat & Sun, April 21 - 22

"Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends...we're so glad you could attend. Come inside, come inside!" Not sure how many of you will get the ELP reference but you can tell me in person if you attend the awesomeness that is Boston Comic Con 2012.

I will be there with cargo and available to you most of the convention to shake hands, sign things and perform portfolio reviews, if you so like. They may have a panel or two for me to participate on so check your con schedules when you arrive.

Meet Jo Chen at Austin Comic Con, Nov 11- 13 in Austin, Texas

Awesome! My first trip to the Lone Star State. I will be at guest at Austin Comic Con from November 11 - 13, and I do hope there will be time enough to visit some comic book shops and to visit the Alamo Draft House.

In any event, I will be available for the duration of the con to meet you, sign things and perform portfolio reviews, if you are so inclined! Be there or be square.

Meet Jo Chen at San Diego Comic-Con 2011, July 21 - 24

Looking forward to seeing all of you wacky folks at SDCC 2011 in a few weeks. I have a couple of events scheduled including ta-da! "Spotlight on Jo Chen" hosted by non other than my Dark Horse editor, Scott Allie. Plus some signings at the Dark Horse and Image booths. You can also catch me hanging at the UDON Entertainment booth with my friends on UDON crew. Not to mention my attendance at the fantabulous "Whedonverse Signing" at the Dark Horse booth! It promises to be a busy con.

Meet Jo Chen at Fanime 2011, May 27 - 30 in San Jose, California

I will be attending 'FanimeCon 2011' from May 27 - 30 in San Jose, California.

I won't, however, be attending as a guest. I will, in fact, be stationed in the Fanime Dealers' Room. So, look for me there, where I will be meeting con-goers, reviewing portfolios, signing comic books and doujin, and selling copies of all the volumes of "In These Words," "Cruel to Be Kind," the Jo Chen illustration book, sketch books, etc.

Jo Chen Art Book (Limited Edition)

A beautiful, limited edition book of many of my cover illustrations is now available. The book measures 8.5" x 11.75" and contains approximately 140 pages of high quality reproductions of my cover paintings, bound in a powerfoil cover. I oversaw the printing and it looks great. Text is Chinese.

The book is priced at $45 plus $12 shipping and handling within CONUS. A deluxe book package is also available that includes a custom made carry case, a sketchbook and a set of postcards with my art, priced at only $65 plus $12 shipping and handling within CONUS.

Samurai's Blood issue #1 cover

To be published next year thru Image is a mini-series based upon the Samurai's Blood film series. This is the first of the covers I will be producing for the book.

Jo Chen at Otakon 2010 in Baltimore, MD on Sat. July 31 thru Sun. August 1

I had such a good time with my friends at UDON Comics at SDCC last weekend that I will be joining them again at Otakon 2010 at the Baltimore Convention Center this weekend.

I look forward to seeing you there. I will have copies of my limited edition art book for sale which includes many of my covers for Street Fighter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8, Runaways, Robin, Thor, Speed Racer, etc. Also prints, posters and the usual.

Look for me at the UDON Comics booth. Who knows...you may even be able to coerce me into a sketch or two!

Jo Chen FABLE III package art for XBOX special edition

This is one of two pieces of key art that I painted for the new FABLE III game due in October 2010. Todd Elhart of Hubris Studios, my art director on this, and I put a lot of crazy hours into this one. It will be worth the wait!!!

Meet Jo Chen at San Diego Comic Con 2010!

Jo will attend San Diego Comic Con 2010 and be available for meet & greets, signings, portfolio reviews and good old fashioned gabbing from Friday July 23 thru Sunday July 25.

She will also have a limited number of copies of her illustration book for sale, packed with beautiful, full-color reproductions of many of her most popular comic book covers including Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Season 8, Runaways and Street Fighter.

You can find her with her good friends at the UDON Comics booth, just across from the Capcom display, where she will be stationed for the better part of all three days

Dark Horse Comics will also feature a Jo Chen signing at the Dark Horse booth on Sunday from 12 - 1 PM! Be there AND be square.

Serenity - "Float Out" cover

I'm happy to post my recent illustration for the new Wash one-shot entitled "Serenity: Float Out" from Dark Horse Comics.

Related news: Both Joss and Alan T. have been gracious enough to sign two 13x19" prints of this cover for me to donate to this year's CSTS auction. Just got them back from Joss yesterday. I'll add my sig and they will go to two generous bidders in the auction; a most worthy cause.

Watch for more news on this and other fab items that will go on the CSTS auction block for your consideration this summer.

Jo Chen at Anime USA 2009 in Crystal City, VA on November 21 and 22

I look forward to seeing yous guys during my annual guest appearance at Anime USA 2009 in Crystal City, VA on November 21 and 22 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

As always, I'll be there shaking more hands than a politician, signing just about whatever you put in front of me and looking at portfolios.

Also, as always, I'm not sure where my table is located but I'm sure to be listed on the program.

I'll have Darkstalkers and Street Fighter prints and posters, Buffy, New Avengers and Runaways stuff, copies of "The Other Side of the Mirror" and more!
